1. Website Questions
A. How do I subscribe to the VIP section?
[WRITE TUTORIAL STEPS HERE LATER]
B. Why are some pages free while others require a subscription?
The main comic pages are eventually released publicly so that anyone can follow the story.
Subscriptions support the ongoing creation of the comic and give supporters access to early pages, bonus artwork, community features, and other extras. Those contributions make it possible for the project to exist as a full-time endeavor.
C. How do I get a commission from you?
[WRITE TUTORIAL STEPS HERE LATER]
D. How does the QnA with the characters work?
In the Striped Sins VIP section, on the QnA Monthly post (titled: QnA - ## Edition - Ask your Questions! ) for the $9 Tier , you comment there, under the post. You write a question for any character you want from the comic.
There will be at least 1 QnA answered per month, chosen at my discretion. More answers depend on time constraints, but usually I'm aiming for quite a few, to keep things fun and varied. Some questions cannot be answered due to spoilers or plot elements.
E. What is an "Audiobook Companion"?
An audio file with recorded professional voice actors, music and sound effects, which you can listen to as you flip through the pages of the comic. Cool, huh? ^^ There's also a video variant of it, with the actual comic panels, so it syncs perfectly.
F. Is the content on this website legal?
Yes. The comic consists entirely of fictional characters and fictional scenarios created for adult audiences. All characters are depicted as adults, and the content follows the legal requirements applicable to artistic and fictional works.
The website is intended for viewers who are 18 years of age or older.
G. Can I repost your pages or upload them somewhere else?
You’re welcome to share links to the website so others can discover the comic.
However, please do not reupload the pages, distribute them, or host them on other platforms without permission. Keeping the content on the official website helps support the project and ensures readers see the pages as they were intended.
2. Characters Questions
A. Are all the characters adults?
Yes, all of them are over 18 years old.
Height may vary (similar to how animated films sometimes portray species with different sizes), but all characters are written and depicted as adults.
B. Why is June (the purple bunny woman) shorter than the other characters?
Characters in the comic vary in height and body type, much like people do in real life or characters do in animated films. June happens to be shorter than some of the others, but she is an adult character.
Species differences, body shapes, and height variations are part of the visual diversity of the cast. Her design reflects personality and visual storytelling choices, not age. If you look carefully, you’ll notice that her proportions are clearly those of an adult character.
C. Why are the characters anthropomorphic animals?
The comic uses anthropomorphic characters because that style allows for expressive storytelling and a bit of creative distance from real-world situations. It also reflects the long tradition of animal-based storytelling seen in animation, comics, and folklore.
At the end of the day, they’re simply fictional characters in a fictional world.
D. Do they mean to represent anyone specifically?
This is a work of fiction. Any resemblance to actual events, to persons living or dead, is unintentional and entirely coincidental. The story, events and characters do not pertain to, nor do they represent, any personal, political, social or religious statement, as the work is made strictly for entertainment purposes.
This is a fictional story with adult characters. It is meant to explore adult themes through humor and empathy. Any visual depictions of sexually explicit conduct are entirely fictional and created for artistic purposes. I do not encourage or approve real-life relationships that are harmful to either partner (physically, mentally or emotionally), nor do I use the story to encourage abusive behavior.
E. Are you a 3D modeler? Did you model these characters?
I’m the author of the comic and the designer, but not the modeler. I pose the models, but I commission them from other artists.
The 3D models used in the creation of these comics have been commissioned by me, and the respective artists who made them have been paid and credited in full.
Some small amount of clothing, props and environments have been borrowed, with full credit being given to their original creators (when identifiable). As such, the public version of this comic should and shall always be free to read digitally online, out of respect towards the works of so many talented 3D artists who shared their creations freely for further use.
F. If I commission you, can you make me a model? Or like, combine 3D elements to make my OC?
I focus on image renders rather than 3D modeling, so I’m unfortunately not able to create or modify models.
G. Can I use your characters in my own comics, animations, or projects?
The characters and world of Striped Sins and Trio Tango are part of an original copyrighted work. Please don’t use them in other projects, games, comics, or animations without permission.
Fan art is always welcome and appreciated, though!
H. Can I commission artwork of your characters from other artists?
Personal fan art commissions are generally fine, so yes.
However, please remember that the characters themselves remain part of the Striped Sins / Trio Tango intellectual property and may not be used commercially.
I. Can I write fan fiction of Striped Sins or Trio Tango?
Fans are free to create their own stories inspired by the characters and world if they wish. Creativity is always appreciated.
However, I’m unable to read or review fan fiction related to the comic, as doing so could create legal complications with the original story and future plot elements.
Also, same as previous answer, fan fiction should remain non-commercial and clearly identified as an unofficial fan work.
3. Story Questions
A. Is this porn?
Not really.
Striped Sins is a story-driven comic first and foremost. It focuses on characters, relationships, personal growth, and the events that shape their lives.
Because the story deals with adult characters and adult situations, it does include explicit and erotic scenes , as well as some NSFW bonus artwork . These moments are part of the narrative and the emotional journey of the characters, rather than the sole purpose of the comic.
In other words, the comic is meant to be read as a story , not just viewed as explicit imagery.
Content that exists purely to stimulate sexual arousal is often described as pornography. This comic, however, is built around storytelling and character development , with mature themes and sexuality appearing as part of the characters’ lives and the situations they experience.
The bonus wallpapers and NSFW artworks come from collaborations, commissions, or simply creative ideas that fit the world of the comic. Some of them are quite explicit, and reactions to them will naturally vary from person to person.
At the end of the day, this is fiction created for adults . If you enjoy character-driven storytelling that sometimes explores mature themes, you’ll probably feel at home here.
B. Is this meant to be a fetish comic?
The comic explores relationships, character development, and personal growth through a fictional story that includes adult themes.
Some readers may enjoy certain elements for different reasons, but the primary focus of the project is storytelling and character dynamics. Like many works of fiction that include mature themes, people may engage with it in different ways.
C. When will the characters have sex?
Striped Sins is a slow-burn story , so intimate moments between characters happen when they make sense for the narrative and for the characters themselves. The comic is built around character development, relationships, and emotional growth, and those things take time to unfold.
Yes, the story does include explicit scenes, and they will appear as the characters’ journeys naturally lead to them. But the focus of the comic is the story and the folks in it , not simply reaching those moments as quickly as possible.
If you enjoy following a long-form narrative — with theories, character interactions, bonus art, community discussions, and watching relationships evolve over time — then you’ll probably enjoy the ride here.
If, on the other hand, you’re mainly looking for projects that deliver frequent explicit scenes right away, there are many great creators out there doing exactly that, and it’s perfectly okay to support the kind of work that matches what you’re looking for.
For readers who enjoy the slow dance of a story building toward its big moments, though, that’s exactly what this comic is about.
D. Are the QnA answers canon?
QnA responses are meant to be fun interactions with the characters and may not always reflect future story events.
Some answers may avoid spoilers or represent the character’s perspective rather than objective facts.
E. Do you accept suggestions or ideas for the story or characters?
I’m always happy to read theories, reactions, and discussions about the story. Seeing readers speculate about what might happen next is part of the fun.
However, I’m not able to accept suggestions, scripts, or ideas for how the story or characters should develop . This helps avoid creative conflicts and potential copyright issues that can arise when outside ideas are submitted.
If someone sends me a detailed idea and I read it, it can create legal complications later if something similar appears in the story. To keep things fair and simple for everyone, the plot, characters, and creative direction of the comic are written entirely by me.
So please feel free to share theories, excitement, and reactions , but try not to send proposals for story changes, plot twists, or character ideas.
If you do choose to submit unsolicited ideas anyway, you acknowledge that they are voluntary and may be similar or even identical to elements that appear in the comic or related projects. Submitting such ideas does not create any obligation for them to be used, credited, or compensated in any way.
Thank you for understanding - and for enjoying the story as it unfolds.
F. Why don’t you change the story based on freely-offered suggestions?
The story is written with a long-term plan in mind, and the script for the narrative is already written in advance. Because of that, the major events, character arcs, and direction of the story are planned ahead of time.
I always enjoy reading readers’ theories and reactions - however, the creative direction of the comic itself isn’t shaped by outside suggestions.
Keeping the story planned and written in advance helps maintain consistency in the narrative, prevents plot contradictions later on, and also avoids legal complications that can arise when outside ideas are incorporated into creative work.
G. Are theories okay? Talking about how we THINK the story continues?
Absolutely okay, I love reading theories, as long as they are not presented as "Here's what you should do" or "You can use this idea".
Predictions are welcome too - though we’ll see how accurate the psychics turn out to be :)
H. Is it a free comic?
Yes, the public comic pages, once posted, will remain free for everyone to enjoy. If you are supporting this project in the VIP section, in order to read the pages in advance, join our community and get extra comic-adjacent goodies, I thank you very much and I welcome you.
4. Technical Questions
A. Do you use AI in any way, for the creation of this comic, the images, the character or the story script?
No.
The only AI-related tool I’ve used was to upscale a few low-resolution textures I found online. That's it.
Everything in the comic itself is created by human artists (be it me, a commissioned artist, an online artist with free assets that I credited, or my lovely modelers).
That said, I do not know if any Third Party used AI to work on what I commissioned them to do. As far as I know, none of my collaborators use AI, at the time of writing this FAQ.
B . What do you work in?
I make Striped Sins in SFM (Source Filmmaker) and Photoshop, DaVinci Resolve to record and edit audio, Propellerhead Reason to compose music, and Microsoft Word to write.
C. I have an OC ported, as a model, to SFM - can you please make an image for me with your characters and my OC? Even NSFW? Or just put them together with your characters in a non-canon situation?
I'd be happy to! When I open commissions, you can message me and we'll talk details.
For non-canon situations, we'll both have to wait to post that image online, so as to not spoil story elements which may (or may not) happen later on.
I still hold on to images from 4 years ago, and I cannot wait to post them, once the characters interact similarly in the story first.
D. Can I send you my OC as a model, so you can add him as a funny cameo? Or his name? Or an image in the background of them?
Sorry, but I have to gently say no to this one.
If I opened that door, I would need to do it for everyone, and unfortunately I wouldn’t have the time to give every character the attention they deserve.
E. How do I cancel my subscription?
Subscriptions can be cancelled at any time through the billing support center provided by the payment processor. Once cancelled, access will remain active until the end of the current billing period.
F. I don’t recognize a charge on my statement. Was this your site? What's the weird name?
Billing descriptors may appear under the payment processor’s name rather than the website name. If you have any questions about a charge, please contact billing support first and they will help resolve the issue.
G. Are refunds available?
Because access to content is granted immediately after purchase, refunds are generally not available.
If you experience a technical issue, feel free to contact support and I’ll be happy to help.
5. Personal Questions
A. Do you accept fan art as gifts? Gift art? Trades?
Fan Art and Gift Art always bring a smile, thank you - I'll always give you credit if I repost them! I'd love to have time for trades but currently I cannot reciprocate.
B. Is this your main source of income?
It is my only source of income.
Striped Sins is my only bread and butter. It pays my bills and puts food on the table. With the little that remains, I try to support the community by commissioning other artists.
C. But if this is your full-time job, why don’t you make more pages, faster?
Four pages per month is currently the pace that allows me to maintain the quality and detail I want for the comic.
I take great care of my work, releasing pages only when I am happy with them.
Apart from the technical aspects, there are also hidden correlations, foreshadowing elements, little playful items that, at close inspection, offer insight into a specific character’s thoughts or mood. Some people enjoy noticing those visual details and analyzing them, and it makes me happy.
Speeding through all that would just lower the overall quality of the story, both visually and as part of your experience.
Sometimes, I can make 5 pages per month, and I'm glad when it happens.
D. Do you mind if I print the comic for myself?
You may print the comic for yourself, as long as you do not sell it, or distribute it (even for free).
I am going to have the official print out soon, that will contain a lot of never-before-seen goodies. I found a distributor, the pages are prepared, and now I'm just gathering money to be able to get it running.
E. Who are other artists that inspired your work?
Right now, I absolutely adore Tom Fischbach's "Two Kinds".
I also enjoy Disney classics, like Robin Hood, Aladdin, and the Lion King, as well as some modern titles like Zootopia 1 and 2.
My Little Pony (G4) had a big influence on the whole "lessons through fun storytelling" angle.
